You'll work on language courses that help to educate 120+ million learners in over 190 countries. On a day-to-day basis, your responsibilities are likely to include: * Planning and creating French language lesson content, applying best pedagogical and instructional design principles for digital language learning * Helping to maintain and improve Busuu's current French language courses * Working with Busuu's content management system to build, publish, and maintain new course content * Working with our Localisation team and translators to make the lesson content accessible to our learners across the world
MISSION
* This is a temporary freelance position (initially until the end of 2025), based on a 32-hour work week, focused specifically on developing our French course. The contract is likely to be extended or renewed, depending on project needs. * Full training provided on Busuu's content management platform, content authoring tools and working practices * Fully remote position (anywhere in the world), We aim to have a simple and speedy hiring process and we want to make sure that we are right for you as much as the other way around. PROFIL RECHERCHÉ
Do you have experience in Teaching?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Extensive experience teaching French as a foreign language * Both native and non-native speakers of French are welcome to apply, but a C2 level mastery of the language is expected * Qualification in teaching French as a foreign language (Master FLE, DAEFLE or equivalent), linguistics or education * B2 proficiency level in English is required * Experience creating lesson content and planning your own lessons * Deep understanding of French grammar and pedagogy * Experience working in a remote environment to deliver digital teaching content via a custom content management system is a big plus!
