English Teacher

MyES Lyon is looking for new teacher to join our team, starting on 10-15 hours per week as a freelancer, with the possibility for hours to grow, and potentially progress to a CDD/CDI contract. Successful candidates will teach a mix of individual and group classes for adults, with a mixture of grammar-based and speaking-based lessons. Our lessons last one hour and have groups of students that can change due to our flexible booking system. Our centre is open from 10am-9pm during the week, and Saturdays from 10am-1pm. As evenings are our most popular time for classes, a teacher should expect to teach 3-4 evenings per week, and Saturdays on rotation. Our timetable is flexible and planned three weeks in advance, by the Director of Studies.

You'll be working in our superb new premises in Orgeval (in the heart of nature, with spacious rooms - 400 m2 surface area, 3,000 m2 park, large swimming pool, TNI, vegetable garden, direct access to the forest, educational farm, etc.). You'll be supported by the director and our team of educators. Open since September 2012, we are working on 3 axes: implementing quality pedagogy, offering an international setting (continuous English), all in a gentle and fulfilling environment, for children and adults alike.

The Language Club (TLC) is looking for responsible, experienced and qualified ESL teachers who will go to clients' homes, teach individual or small groups of children after school on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays with fuller days on Wednesdays (schedules are flexible to fit the teacher's availability). We'll provide the lesson plans and most materials for all of your lessons, you must be on time, fun, engaging and responsible. Support with every step along the way is guaranteed. TLC is looking for a full school year commitment from September to the end of June, not including school and public holidays.
