The position holder is responsible to supervise drilling HSE activities within the SACOI 3 project, related to onshore activities ensuring compliance with contractual agreements. He is also responsible to control site activities, ensuring compliance with Project HSE Plan, and local regulatory framework requirements, related to Health, Safety and Environment. Full time presence on site in Corsica (Ajaccio or Bastia) MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES The duties and responsibilities described here are not exhaustive and the job holder may be asked by his line manager to carry out other tasks appropriate to the position. · To ensure that all HSE activities at construction site(s) are carried on in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations, client requirements and HSEQ policy related to Health, Safety and Environment. · To facilitate accidents/incidents investigation and to carry out analysis of accident / incident statistics, identifying trends and suggesting improvement plans at site level. · To conduct HSE inspections and audits on subcontractors involved in project activities and to create the related reports, ensuring a follow-up of the outcome. · To develop and perform project safety training / induction and contribute to the implementation at site level of safety behavioral initiatives, also including suppliers and subcontractors. · To monitor, evaluate and analyze the effectiveness of the HSE Plans and propose improvement actions. · To collect all Safety Observation Cards and monitor follow up. · To collect all the required HSE KPIs and to report them to the Project HSE Manager. · To ensure the proper waste management, including segregation, collection, and reporting.
Direction des Secteurs Privé et Publique* Provide technical support and assistance in the area of Marine assurance for all types of vessels supporting offshore marine operations of the Company (e.g. logistics, drilling rigs, diving support vessels, floatels, construction vessels). * This will include but not be limited to: * Perform quality control of submitted OVID inspection reports commissioned by Company as per OCIMF quality standards, * Review the close out proposals made by vessel technical operator in the OVID inspection reports and prepare a recommendation for vetting decision issued by Company, * Provide ad-hoc marine advice and consultancy as and when required such as technical analysis for vessels selection.
